If you would ask me what game closely resembles Assaulter, I would quickly say “Are you blind?” Assaulter very closely resembles the look and feel of the Metal Slug series. The two are very similar in style that I even thought that Assaulter was a sequel of some sort. If you love Metal Slug, or side scrolling shooters for that matter, you may find Assaulter to be worth every minute of your time.
